i feel like we havent seen much of olivia yet. im curious to know about her and her story!

darcy-- "Olivia is a mixed bag from odd beginnings. Upon being born, she was immediately brought into such an intense, loving, accepting family unlike any of the other families she'd see at school or seen on TV. She was naturally born with a sort of whimsy- she plays most comfortably by herself, setting up scenes and whispering.. A lot of her has been encouraged by Ruben and April to be brought out. Like with the "playing" example, Ruben and April might be playing together, and she'll shyly look over wanting to play too but not knowing how, so one of them will notice and include her somehow in a way that isn't too demanding or explicit (oh no, the queens evil lap cat! or the janitor that got mixed up at the wrong time, hahaha). She's always been very dependent on her family.. She has numerous health problems (weakness, fatigue, stomach/appetite, hair), so she often has more serious needs for naps, snacks, physical support, special products.. Along with always having been shy and nervous around others, a lot of peoples instinct with that is to hold their hand, come with them, talk for them, and it works great! But also doesn't help her break out of anything, haha. She's very creative and secretive- she has a diary and writes tiny books or has elaborate role-playing stories (either to herself or with April). She likes looking at things and imagining them as something different. She'll snoop or look at her family a lot.
She also, though, ends up growing some-what of distaste or struggle with them and as mentioned before is why she goes into therapy with Percy. She's a very thoughtful person, so sometimes she can see April and Rubens' self-interest oriented behavior and get annoyed or overwhelmed. She feels sometimes that she was born loved, and not that she earned it, so it can feel ingenuine. This causes some distance between her and her family sometimes, but the best thing to do when she gets this way is just to be gentle with her. Ruben will take her to quiet parks to bird watch or draw with chalk, showing that he understands her and that he doesn't want everything to feel so scary and he really does care, and April will set up a fort to watch comfort movies with her or take a quiet bath together, to show that she doesn't mean to be too much, she just gets too excited sometimes. It's always been like that for them. April needed a lot of tending to from Ruben when she was younger, and now that Olivia is here, and she's older, she feels more secure to be able to help give Olivia that needed attention too. Olivia is sooo clingy towards them both. She and April have always shared a room together, and Ruben usually always is there to watch after her. They make her feel butterflies whether it's from them being so romantic and sweet, or them bullying and teasing her because it's so easy, ha!!
As she gets older she does gain this hidden intensity.. Wide, targeting eyes, overly affectionate.. She surrounds herself with friends and her family who she can be herself around. Flat affected, quiet, and absolutely enthralled to have people and noise surrounding her to listen to and feel a part of.
She can make the most heavy, beautiful, insightful and dark comics that show a depth like nothing else, and then you'll talk or message her and she'll usually just make sounds, send emoji's, mimic/repeat, or say simple phrases. For a lot of reasons, she's hard to get to know.
She is also trans! It wasn't really ever a huge thing with her. To April she's always acted like her little sister, and to Ruben he's always let her pick her clothes and toys anyway, so it made sense. Although affectionately, she still likes being called Ollie by them sometimes <3
Thank you for letting me talk about my wonderful fox girl!"
