How they treat others - especially those further down the pecking order. You can tell a lot about a person just by sitting for an hour in a restaurant with them.

How generous they are as a person - and I don't mean with money. Will they help a stranger in need? Do they hold doors open/give up their seat for others? Do they do things for others for no reward - financial or "Look what I did! Aren't I a good person!" (I hate that with a passion.)

How brave they are. Will they stand by and watch bad things getting done to people/animals or will they step up and do something? Will they run at the first sign of trouble and leave others in danger?

How tolerant they are to people different from them - colours, religions, genders, physical and mental abilities, appearances, lifestyles.

How much they love Guinea pigs.
