I’m 40+ years old. Is it “appropriate” for me to be on Retrospring?

I just looked at the public feed. A load of infantile bullshit about fan fiction and idiots being horrible to each other. I say we need more people over 40, not less! For the love of god, I'm not going back on there again in a hurry!
