There’s a lot of argument about people that do terrible terrible things under order - like being a death camp prison guard - and how they’re only doing it to survive themselves. Frankly, anyone who could treat a fellow human being the way those guards did deserves everything that’s coming to them. And while I couldn’t know for sure how I’d react under those circumstances, I don’t think I’d hesitate if it was them or me.
