do you have one painting that you love so much (yours or from other artists) and care to tell me the story behind it or what does it represent?

GOD IT'S SO CRUEL TO JUST CHOOSE ONE. I have from my own collection, I once painted my mun's grandma a watercolor painting. A forest with a full moon, all black paint on watercolor paper. The story behind it… I painted it while I was waiting and took care of her at her room in the hospital, while she was fighting her cancer. But I lost the painting long time ago and planning to remake it on the fresh sketchbook I just bought.

From other Artists, I have one from each different painters. From the classic *Van Gogh, my fav is the Eugène Boch's portrait. With *Odilon Redon, I love the Smiling Spider one, call me crazy but it gives me sense of calm and just somehow comforting to me. For *Alma-Tadema is the lovely petal shower of The Roses of Heliogabalus, it's just too lovely to skip it. *Mark Rothko, I love Black on Grey, pardon my goth emo dark ass but it just calming me to see dark painting, as if you can mute things inside of you, including the war inside of you. *Arnold Boecklin, I choose the Fiedelnder Tod because it's like the devil/death is playing with the music behind of you trying to manipulate things. And I interpret the "music" as time, because with time, in the end you're the one who manipulate yourself.

Who else… I have so many, I've been collecting paintings (mostly classic era) and the painters since my mun was still in Uni. So it's hard to mention one by one.
