If you could give some advice to your past self (especially with regards to writing), what would it be?

"Stay grounded; and no, edginess is not 'grounded'. Be aware of tone, and don't think a few acts of violence will shift the needle when treated without gravity and especially in an unchanged bright shiny aesthetic. And no, you aren't nearly as good as you think you are. Yet."
