It's pretty much one of the worst things that could have happened. I can't believe that people actually want Twitter and Facebook and Google to decide what is 'misinformation', I think about the Iraq war a lot, and how the US government lied about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction, in this new world order the (true) assertion that there were no WMDs would have been branded as 'misinformation' and people would have gotten blocked/suspended/etc
