Your friend ghosted you for over a year and suddenly you get a text from them what do you do?

if the person who ghosted me just texted me out of nowhere, the first thing I hear from them should be an apology, or at the very least an explanation, not really interested in hearing anything else, that is the bare minimum starting point, if I don't hear that I'm not responding
