It's terrorism. It's right there in the title. Designed, intentional terror inflicted on children. If brown people were doing it to their kids it'd be part of the justification for an invasion. Besides I believe the prison system creates more monsters than it 'rehabilitates' and the entire carceral/punishment mindset needs to be rethought
