I remember you saying that the magic system was based off Mage the Ascension to some degree. We've seen a few high tech laser guns, so is there a Technocracy analog in the setting?

Not really, mages are a lot less organized. But we will see one whose powers are expressed through tech (if you're a patron, you've already met them)
