My brain palace is conjuring thoughts of Megumi willingly taking a spot on Satoru's lap and curling into his chest, falling asleep to the older man's even breaths and steady, strong heartbeat; or Megumi pouring his heart out to Yuuji, thanking him for being his first real friend and the closest person he holds dear. Megumi who needs to have his hands held or his hair pet or wearing the others' clothes, too big on his figure: hem meeting his thighs, knuckles drowned in large sweater paws, his scent obscured under Satoru's expensive cologne and Yuuji's musk.

Meanwhile, Satoru and Yuuji are fighting the urge to pounce, consume and devour. They adjust themselves in their pants, the itch to touch, corrupt and overpower their cursed friend bordering onto impulsive, indulgent and immoral. 😩

Please!!! Nobara and Yuuji would be so weirded out by Gojo and Megumi's relationship. The moment the two of them see how touchy their sensei is with Megumi ot notice just how high his voice gets when calling out to his favorite student, they suspect it isn't just a case of shameless favoritism.

Nobara and Yuuji realize that Gojo and Megumi possess something much more passionate and intimate when they really take the time to notice just how soft, sweet and private each of their interactions are. How Megumi - the typically reluctant and shy boy, too embarrassed to reciprocate physical affection - blushes and leans into Satoru's offered touch, smiling behind the protective collar. Or, how Satoru would treat Megumi, not as a student, but as an equal: offering to sit on the dirty ground just so Megumi could sit comfortably; going to restaurants and attractions that Megumi preferred; always so protective of the other's well-being during missions (not because he doubted Megumi's potential as a sorcerer, but, because Megumi was irreplaceable, his everything).

And, after some time, Yuuji and Nobara accept their immoral and unconventional relationship. However, their acceptance switches the moment they realize just how long Satoru has been present in Megumi's life... 9 years, nearly a decade... since Megumi was a child.

"You need to be locked up, old man!" Nobara protested.

"Did you groom Fushiguro-kun, sensei? I thought you were a good guy!!" Yuuji wailed.

They eventually relent and drop the subject but, every once in awhile, when Satoru is acting particularly condescending or arrogant, Nobara will shove the fact in his face and watch as his confidence crumbles and he fumbles to excuse himself.

Dumb, innocent Megumi terrified of the press and their persistent, ruthless inquisitions on his love-life. He's too embarrassed to admit he's single and has had little to no romantic experience beyond the scenes he's shared with other actors on screen.

So, on one particular, stressful night, when he's been in the studio for over 12-hours, fatigue clinging onto his bones and weighing his musclea like damp clothes, he blurts out a mindless response. Thoughtless and impulsive. And, oh so, stupid.

He doesn't even recall what he had said to the innumerable paparazzi lining the road, until the morning after gthe damage was done. In his exhaustion enduced disorientation, he'd said he was dating Japan's #1 producer: Gojo Satoru.

Tabloids, news articles and social media was aflame. Anarchic, catastrophic madness. Fans simultaneously lamenting and congratulating the renowned producer, whilst others speculated on the hypothetical timeline of their relationship. It was huge. Gojo was Japan's #1 producer and #1 bachelor - in his long career, he'd never settled, never been seen with the same man or woman twice. And now, out of no where, he was off the market.

All the while, his manager had called over and over again, messages were sent ever minute.

He was fucked. Megumi was fucked.

As expected, Gojo Satoru hadn't taken to the news with grace or compassion. The producer's manager had quickly arranged a meeting between the two and thus, there Megumi was, trembling in his seat, with the Gojo Satoru scrutinizing his every breath.

"I'm sorry! It was a mistake! I'll take the fault! My manager is already preparing to write an official statement and make it seem like miscommunication!"

Satoru hadn't said much. All he had done was look Megumi up and down and nod, smiling small and almost imperceptibly. And finally, after an asphyxiating, tense moment of silence, he hums.

"No need for any of that. It would be a shame let thks opportunity go. How about we make those speculative headlines a reality."

"What?"

"I'm saying, come out with me tonight. I'll buy you dinner."

Oh. This hadn't been what Megumi was imagining would happen.
