Hi there! Your contributor guidelines state writers have to submit complete work, but also that if it's longer that a shorter snippet is okay. So how would this work?
Thank you for your question! Basically, what we are asking for is this:
We are looking for a polished work that showcases your writing skills to us! If this is in the form of a chaptered fic, or a long one-shot, we ask that you take between a smaller sample between 1k-2k so that our Writing Mod can get through as many portfolios while grading as possible!
Whether your fic is actually completed or not isn't necessarily what we are looking for, but that it is at the presentable form you would publish for others to read! A WIP fic is completely fine to use in your portfolio, as long as you are completely happy with where that snippet you're showing is at :)
