Arle would be fine if she was a bad guy and not just another Yae level girlboss who just "hates the bad men" and is bait for mean girl radfem twitter to use as their icons when they bully ppl over not enough wlw fics on ao3 (as they sand down arlefuri to be another uwu fic like every other yuri ship in this franchise)
It would have already helped if she did anything of substance in AQ rather than her only actual contribution being that she gave us the tidbit about Furina "not seeming like a god at all" which the Traveler should've been able to intuit on their own given they have met more than one god themselves.
And the few things she DID do either do not get treated as they should (her aborted assassination attempt on Furina is all but forgotten bc Traveler literally does not seem to give a shit about it) or are vague enough for ppl to interpret in a way that makes her look good (her grooming orphan children into loyal but disposable soldiers gets sanded down to "uwu protective Father taking care of her kids that she loves very much")
