my texturing is just using a static brush/effect over my art set on "add(glow)" with low opacity
for coloring,,, I colored my ocs how I normally do and then went over with a gradient map! You can do this by selecting the area you want effected, right clicking your layer section, "new correction layer", then "gradient map". you can play around with it quite a bit, but a majority of my experimental pieces use alot of gradient maps to see what sticks. also overlay and multiply are ur friends, i use those to shade the most
