The ocean: Fascinating, terrifying, or both?

I love looking at it from a distance, maybe even swimming at the beach, but more than 5 meters away from the shoreline and I’m shitting myself get it AWAY

I’m not afraid of the ocean like a lot of people. I don’t fear being alone, surrounded by darkness. In fact, the ocean comforts me. That there’s life even down in the abyss. It’s a fascination and comfort.
