I don't talk about my ocverse ever but i need to take this moment to talk about Morel. He has not actually slept in a bed for like 5 years, since of his living situation he has slept exclusively on a cot since there isnt enough room. this is self imposed. he could live in a normal room but he doesnt think he deserves it. sopping wet honse hates himself so much. eventually he gets talked into moving into the side room (because.... they kinda need the closet for storage...) and he actually invites people over because they can be somewhere private since he doesnt want to be harassed by Basil since he is a NIGHTMARE. the true living expense living there is putting up with what he has to go through, not food or whatever. i dont think he ever moves out though just because it's such a safe place to be and also still feels too guilty to ask for his mom to take him back but because of his mental health can't work a "proper job" and kinda just needs a little extra support and even though they weren't previously close to each other Basil took him in without question after his failed suicide attempt because he couldn't bring himself to finally face his mom again because for all she knows he died. i need to get him ssris.

What Made your Favorite Deep Sea Creature your Favorite
for more of a shallow one i love, i think giant isopods are sooooooo cute i love them theyre so friend shaped
but for an animal i love due to more scientific reasons, i do think chimaeraformes unsurprisingly amazing. they eat mostly invertebrates, and because of that they have that neat adaptation of being able to sense electrical impulses. they have a lot in common with sharks honestly but theyre just so foreign at the same time

ely- instructor guard, he realizes that his home is with rhodes and that he wants to help shape future generations, like his new children.
phantom- some combo of reaper guard and dollkeeper, a version of him that's decided he's tired of the wine god's control over him and manages to overcome it................... said moment is thanks to a certain fish. maybe. maybe.
shamare- i think core caster, becoming like a 5* haze where she still debuffs but has a higher attack stat. more of just growing into a more advanced role.

absinthe i see either as an arts defender like you suggested, but i think likely because of taking inspiration from her Bird Dad, maybe a flagbearer?

aaaaa i wanted to like, ask a question, but a topic could not come to mind, so instead i will tell you that i am fine with any topic (oh god i hope this isn't late)
no this is enough because i can actually start talking about something thats been on my mind. i am of course thinking about bird things. theres so many important parts of lazosis but i think one of the best parts of their dynamic is like, lazuli will just crawl on top of him just to make sure they're above him when they kiss him. like. its very uncommon that he's the one bending down on his own. since theyre so closed doors for showing affection to each other its not like they have any reason to worry about people catching them doing this. but like, lazuli has just sat on their desk to make it easier to kiss him while they're in their office together.

GOTTA ASK THE MOST PSYCHOLOGICALLY TELLING OC QUESTION I HAVE: What Photos would Lazuli save on his Phone, and would the photos they have Change/be different due to who specifically they End up getting together with?
The photos on this freaks phone are like, almost entirely pictures of his kids, slightly out of focused pics of weird stuff he found, [redacted], and then the aspect that changes is like, he takes a fuck ton of pictures of his partner, sometimes selfies of them together but like, with permission just takes a picture any time he thinks his partner looks cute, which is often, because they ARE a wifeguy like, even if they don't have a wife. Like 70% of the photo roll is like, just random ass photos of their partner. Then 20% kid photos, 5% weird things, and then the final 5% is what you expect of a whore fish
