Was there any sort of inspiration for Mari? Or was it just you went 'I'd like more deer', and then made a doughy doe?

Yes! Mari was heavily inspired by Blossom from Battlerite. I basically just took her basic concept and added a bunch of traits I enjoyed and mixed them together into Mari!
