Missed seeing you around over the weekend, but sounds like you had a great time and that is awesome. What is a question you’re surprised you haven’t been asked here yet?
Hmm, that’s a good question. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this; I kinda hoped for some flirting but otherwise didn’t know what to expect.
The questions have been really thoughtful so I guess there’s nothing I wish I’d been asked that hasn’t been asked.
Im so happy you bend time with oyt bouifrind!!!!! Im so happy for you! :) im sory I cant type well lol
Thank you so much!
what's your preferred way to write?
This question has so many answers depending on how tactical or strategic you’re meaning, but basically...
I write by the seat of my pants, especially at first, with music blasting in my ears. I’ll pick an album that matches the mood I’m after generally, and let the flow of the album influence my pacing and plotting.
you rprolly know who i am lol but my weekend was fun tbh!! i hope yours was!!! what did you do this week end??
I’m so glad you had a fun weekend! Mine was amazing!
Pretty much every weekend, I spend with my boifriend Jake; we spend as much time together as we can, as close as we’re able, 24/7, because during the week we can’t see each other due to our schedules... every time, it gets easier and harder. Hopefully someday I can get my own place and see him every day but until then, this is the best I can do.
What was the first album you bought on CD?
This one is really tough because my early CD collection was this melange of my parents’ CDs, CDs I was borrowing from the public library, and those I owned myself. CDs were $15-18 in the early 1990s, which is like being $30 today, and buying one destroyed my allowance, so I didn’t buy any until I was almost in high school...
I want to say the first CD I ever bought for myself with my own money was Master Of Puppets by Metallica.
I know my early collection was: Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning by Metallica, Rush’s best of collection, Counting Crows (“August and Everything After”), Dream Theater’s Images and Words and Awake albums, Pantera’s Vulgar Display of Power, and Fragile by Yes.
If you could carry one thing around with you at all times and be able to pull it, cartoon-style, from hammerspace, what would it be?
Oh gawd this is a brilliant question and I need to know where you first heard of hammersoace because there’s a couple of potential origin points for folx and I’d love to know!
Ok, so for me it would have to be something useless but great for a gag. I think it would be like an old timey computer and monitor, full sized and running so that I could pull it out whenever I said “hmm let me think”
Do you have a preferred style of headphones for listening to music?
I’ve had to become really practical with my headphones, because when I can listen to music the most I’m either around other people at work, or sleeping kids at home. Plus I’m super vain about my hair which basically only gives me in ear headphones to work with.
When I’m working on music I’ll listen on my really really good headphones (I have a pair of Audeze LCD-2’s for mixing and mastering).
Honestly, though, a decent pair of earphones like AirPods is fine if you focus on the right EQ settings to flatten the sound out. $100 earphones and a $10 app can sound like a $500 pair of earphones if you’re diligent about chasing the frequency response curve with that EQ app.
does it not snow often where u are?
Not really... it’s a typically pretty mild climate, but what happens is because we’re not used to snow, even a tiny bit makes people drive badly, so companies will just shut down to avoid being responsible for car accidents. There’s barely half an inch of snow on the ground but it’s delayed everything until later in the day.
...but every four years or so, it’ll snow Really Hard and suddenly there’s six inches on the ground and the city shuts down for like a week because nobody knows how to handle it.
What is a character archetype you always enjoy seeing in a story?
The scared and innocent cinnamon roll who by the end of the story does a Big, Unexpectedly Badass Thing. Neville Longbottom is a great example.
