Writing request: Fenris watching Miorjah in the gardens and pondering about how he feels about her
Truly, he felt mad. The courts had whispered as much, and the fact that everyone saw it made Fenris uneasy. Always the confident soul able to stay stoic in the face of any challenge, this little princess - this mythical, maiden mare - made him falter in the most dangerous of ways. His mind was on her above the kingdom, above his people, and not even his blood had swayed him from his duty before. To have such an obvious and vulnerable weak point was the downfall of so many leaders before him. There was only one answer, he resolved to himself as he watched her tend to her beloved flowers in the castle gardens. With a gaze that often stared into the unknown, this quiet place was one of the few that made her shake that ghostly blankness and finally brighten with a rejuvenating smile. She would be kept here, close at hand and under constant guard by only his most trusted. Some would call such treatment captivity, the princess a prisoner to his jealous and possessive grip, and perhaps even she would find it so. It did not matter, she would find happiness here in time. It was the only way to protect her, and her life was more valuable than such fleeting things as temporary happiness no matter how deeply her longing sighs and distant stared stung him. He could make this place tolerable, surely. He was a King, and every wish she had could be granted with a snap save her own freedom.
