Favorite animal of each type (mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird, fish, arthropod)?
Ooh an interdasting one...
Mammal: Cat (Easy)
Reptile: Chameleon (had to think about it, probably the coolest one to me tho)
Amphibian: Common Frog (Used to catch and release them along rivers as a kid. Theyre so tiny and fascinating)
Bird: Pigeon (its not something I think about often, but being out of the city for a while I miss the little guys. Besides, their cooing is cute, theyre very hardy and I love how they stick the middle feather to anti bird architecture. Goals)
Fish: Betta Fish (the most common fish we'd have as a kid rather than gold fish. Poor things deserved a lot more room but theyre very beautiful when theyre thriving in a proper enviornment)
Arthropod: Jumping Spiders (Simply adorable! Buggy Puppies)

How long have you been doing art?
I have a 2 part answer. My first OC was made in 2006 and that was when I first started experimenting with comics and stuff outside of just doodling. Usually though I say 2010 because thats when I started taking it (too) seriously in the sense of studying and going out from what I was originally doing.
2010 on deviantart was a terrible time to be an easily impressionable young artist because there was such a community hard-on for semirealism being the end goal but I honestly never enjoyed putting myself in that expectation. I could do it if I wanted to but its too stressful and annoying.

Do you have any other ideas for Mastodon bots?
YES! I just havent decided if I should also use the aethy domain for them or botsinspace. They are intended to foster creative ideas through rng.
- Port the alpha version of my clothing outfit generator over to Tracery and then plug that into cheapbotstootsweet 2/3. Same as above but with the anime hairstyle generator and possibly the furry oc design gen.
- A more slightly personal one that will post unlisted and hourly, but basically toot motivational art observations tailered to remind me of different revelations I have made over the years at random.

What made you decide to make the tropes bot?
I've always dabbled in RNG because I can't be assed to make a decision on my own, but for the tvtropes bot, I was browsing it wondering about a way to make it less rabbit holey, but while doing that I stumbled upon their opinions about sexualization of minors in fic. I was feeling pissy about their userbase and TOS using the wrong terms to discuss child exploitation and also didnt wanna support their ad revenue as a result.
So on github I found a scraped dataset of over 20,000 tropes and their laconics by some miracle of search and so while I originally wanted to make something self contained and assign tags to certain tropes, the task would be herculean by itself, but seeing the bots on mastodon and the cw system on aethy made me try.
It's actually pretty challenging to keep up with posting because I'm using postybirb and not anything automatic yet. If I had it my way though, I'd buy a cheap vps for the sake of it and other bots, but I'd have to learn how to manage that too, (not to mention have moneys)
