I love the way you draw SO SO MUCH!! it's so textured and aahhhhhgnfn I love it. It reminds me of like. Rough wood grain but in a really really good way I love love LOVE looking at it. The way you draw Dongbaek also makes me really happy aaahuhgb.. this isn't really a question but I wanted to just say it because your art makes me feel really happy
HI ANON I am. Deeply deeply sorry over how late this ask is but still thank you so much for telling me....It's genuinely very encouraging to me, I always worry if my drawings or at least the ones I have posted are too messy since I had some basic painter trainer which I apply to my pieces and such....Dongbaek in particular has such an aura of of freedom to her, I feel like the search for freedom is such a key aspect to her character it sort of goes hand in hand with her nature association, so when I think about her I get the desire to use wild strokes (even though that is partly my anxiety making me weirdly aggressive when I paint sometimes). In general, I really love playing with textured brushes and giving it all a very unique feeling and she awakens that kind of feeling in me though most of the time I struggle thinking about compositions and then putting them into motion....either way, at least that's kind of where my mind is at when I make these pieces, I feel her feelings very strongly so I want them to shine so brightly, and it makesm e beyond happy to hear it brightens your heart too....glad to provide for Dongbaek lovers always
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. The fascination with flight has been the fuel that has motivated notable scientists and inventors to learn about aerodynamics for hundreds of years. Sir Isaac Newton devised and shared his three laws of motion in 1686, which focused on how objects move and the forces that affect movement. Scientists and inventors have also engaged in examination of the physics of flight to understand how birds fly and to apply these fundamentals to developing and honing aircraft flight. The physics of flight explain how airplanes leave the ground and land again safely and how birds soar through the sky.
Basic Flight Physics
Newton's three laws of motion include the following principles. The first law states that every object in motion will remain in motion unless some type of external force changes this. The second law of motion focuses on an object's mass and how it affects its acceleration. In short, the more mass that is in an object, the more force will be required to change its speed and/or direction. The third law states that every force has an opposing force that is of equal strength. Slowing or stopping a moving object requires the application of an opposite force.
Daniel Bernoulli was a Swiss scientist who lived during the 18th century. Bernoulli's contribution to flight physics centers around the discovery of the decreased pressure of fluid as velocity increases. The Bernoulli Principle is a foundational principle of aerodynamics.
Aerodynamics involves a combination of four different forces: lift, weight, drag, and thrust. Lift is the opposite force of weight, and it occurs as air moves on wings. The weight force includes the total weight of an object: The force of gravity naturally pulls weight down. Drag is a slowing force, opposite to the thrust force, which happens with the disruption of airflow. Thrust is a forward-moving force that opposes drag. Thrust happens due to the energy produced by the rotor or propeller.
For an airplane to fly, the four forces have to have the right balance. Taking off requires a stronger thrust than drag, and landing requires reduced thrust and lift to bring the plane back down to the ground. Airplane wings are an important component of lift due to the difference in air pressure on the top surface as compared to the under surface as a plane flies. This difference causes the airplane to go up. Helicopters also use the same forces for flight. Rotor blades are counterparts of an airplane's wings, providing lift for the helicopter. The difference is that helicopter rotor blades rotate, which forces air over them to give lift to the helicopter. Rockets are another common type of aircraft that also relies on the same four forces. Rockets use fuel to propel them into space. The rocket's engine exhaust also helps move it because the exhaust moves backward, which forces the rocket forward. Even kites fly using the forces of motion. Wind moving across the kite's sail produces pressure, which gives the kite lift. This pressure also creates a type of vacuum that produces thrust.
Birds take to the air using the same aerodynamic forces that make it possible for airplanes, helicopters, rockets, and kites to fly. Pressure on top of a bird's wings compared to below them creates an upward lift. When birds flap their wings, they create thrust to propel them through the air. Some birds glide and soar through the air by holding their wings at a V-shaped angle to control how the wind hits their wings. Birds' tails also help them control flight elevation and speed. By spreading out their tail feathers, drag occurs, which slows them down for landing.
chillin on the weekend like usual
watchin spongebob and scooby dooby doo
now that canto iv is finished, which sinner's chapter are you most excited for?
i want to get a pet rock and name it after yi sang
Yi sang with a gun or Yi Sang in the femur breaker
what type of tea would be yi sang's favorite?
yi sang is outside my house rn
what identities are you hoping for? encompassing all the known organizations
Hmm I don't think I really have a wishlist or anything, but right now I'm very curious about possible K Corp identities....Aside from that I keep thinking about Arbitrer IDs for Ryoshu, Yi Sang and Hong Lu it just feels like a perfect fit for them.
I think I don't have anything else in particular in mind or that I'm hoping for though, so I'm interested in seeing what they have in store
what about canto iv are you most excited for? or alternatively, do you have any theories?
Honestly just about everything! I'm just so interested to see Yi Sang's backstory and how he came to be how he is now, specially seeing all of the small details to his characterization and the image they paint when you actually pay attention to what he does and says, even things like the abnormality logs he writes and his main menu lines, as well as what it can mean for the overall worldbuilding taking in count how much of an influence the real author is in Korea. The Wings also left such a powerful impact on me it makes me so eager but so anxious to see what they would do with it.
I've been speculating at length for like. The last month on a lot of things but if I had to say the major ones, I think the main conclusion I've drawn is that a big theme is going to be the experiences of creatives under capitalism, or more of an arguement of doing it for the art vs for the money, except through the lense of scientists. I also feel like for Yi Sang his big issue is going to be "denial", looking back on his trailer and how he talks about how "taking interest in the outside world is not a delightful" thing, as well as his base EGO being a sloth-type sin. When you actually pay attention to his perspective and small moments like how he defends Yuri in Canto 1, how he the one who questions Rodya on if she's really ok leaving Sonya behind, finding beauty in strange things like the rotten potato as well as the one EGO he has that doesn't relate to being lost, heartbroken or abandoned in some way he's been relates to wish-granting. And also, how compared to Outis and Heathcliff's very violent versions of it his version of Sunshower fox has him protecting the rest of the team before proceding. In a nutshell, it clashes a lot with the very cruel, unsympathetic nature of the Wings of the world and other scientists in similar position, and taking in count the protagonist's situation in his book and how all of these themes of devotion to someone who doesn't have the best intentions for you and not wanting to face reality are basically the big, "main text" point of the story....I feel like he didn't want to face the reality he ended up in because he loved the rest of his team so much, until at one point he was forced to confront it.
I also feel that K Corp likely has some kind of human-animal and even Abnormality experimentation going on and possibly keeping a human farm for Enkephalin and food since the HP tech has the same shade as Enkephalin....I also feel the silver-haired person from the trailer is Dongrang, a member of his old group the Guinhoe since it seems to line up with one of the figures in the photo from the previous teaser, but there's still some other options.
Honestly I have WAY too many thoughts and theories and observations but I wanted to keep the most "important" parts....in other words I'm so excited to see what they're going to do and how all of this holds up.
