what about canto iv are you most excited for? or alternatively, do you have any theories?

Honestly just about everything! I'm just so interested to see Yi Sang's backstory and how he came to be how he is now, specially seeing all of the small details to his characterization and the image they paint when you actually pay attention to what he does and says, even things like the abnormality logs he writes and his main menu lines, as well as what it can mean for the overall worldbuilding taking in count how much of an influence the real author is in Korea. The Wings also left such a powerful impact on me it makes me so eager but so anxious to see what they would do with it.

I've been speculating at length for like. The last month on a lot of things but if I had to say the major ones, I think the main conclusion I've drawn is that a big theme is going to be the experiences of creatives under capitalism, or more of an arguement of doing it for the art vs for the money, except through the lense of scientists. I also feel like for Yi Sang his big issue is going to be "denial", looking back on his trailer and how he talks about how "taking interest in the outside world is not a delightful" thing, as well as his base EGO being a sloth-type sin. When you actually pay attention to his perspective and small moments like how he defends Yuri in Canto 1, how he the one who questions Rodya on if she's really ok leaving Sonya behind, finding beauty in strange things like the rotten potato as well as the one EGO he has that doesn't relate to being lost, heartbroken or abandoned in some way he's been relates to wish-granting. And also, how compared to Outis and Heathcliff's very violent versions of it his version of Sunshower fox has him protecting the rest of the team before proceding. In a nutshell, it clashes a lot with the very cruel, unsympathetic nature of the Wings of the world and other scientists in similar position, and taking in count the protagonist's situation in his book and how all of these themes of devotion to someone who doesn't have the best intentions for you and not wanting to face reality are basically the big, "main text" point of the story....I feel like he didn't want to face the reality he ended up in because he loved the rest of his team so much, until at one point he was forced to confront it.

I also feel that K Corp likely has some kind of human-animal and even Abnormality experimentation going on and possibly keeping a human farm for Enkephalin and food since the HP tech has the same shade as Enkephalin....I also feel the silver-haired person from the trailer is Dongrang, a member of his old group the Guinhoe since it seems to line up with one of the figures in the photo from the previous teaser, but there's still some other options.

Honestly I have WAY too many thoughts and theories and observations but I wanted to keep the most "important" parts....in other words I'm so excited to see what they're going to do and how all of this holds up.
