Is it ok to force your will on others only for good's sake?

Usually people enforce their will on others not for good's sake, but for god's sake, at least they pretend that.

Sometimes.

Though there are worlds upon worlds of evil things which use this justification, maybe most of them.

"It's okay to threaten/harm/hurt/control people, for a good cause."

People set the table with handguns instead of salad forks … if all you have a is a hammer …

When needs arise, sure. But people default to these methods far far too often.

Unless you're saving someone from a literal scenario where their life could otherwise be in danger if they didn't listen, then not really.

Good question. I don't know. As a spiritualist I want to say no... but then, i'm also wary of making rules.

Perhaps in an emergency. But generally no unless you're in the position of an accepted authority (i.e. a doctor). Its an uncomfortable thought though.

Most emphatically. No. I can't empasise this enough. It is one of the worst crimes against a person. Removing their autonomy.
