I've seen a couple designs for theoretical siblings for Azul since Ursala has a sister in the sequel lmao, and it's neat to think about! I definitely do think if Azul had a sibling of any variety he would try to use it as more common ground for him and Jamil, and no doubt Jamil would be HORRIFIED wondering who ran their mouth about him but knowing it was probably Kalim LMAO

BDSISBSK FLOYD NOOO lmao honestly I think he's Decent with kids in the sense that he understands that they're small and need to be treated a certain way, and also he's good at playing with them and keeping them preoccupied, but I think there's yeah also that learning curb where he'd carry a baby around like a football or be like "yeah sure you can eat ice cream for dinner" because HE wants ice cream for dinner now, or he decides it's time to have a nerf dart war and not only goes too wild with it but encourages the location they're in being destroyed, or he's like "they punched you? Well why? ...Yeah I'd punch you too if I were them, knock it off" like letting children go Too Wild lmao

He's the guy you don't want to have watch your kids but if you have no other option you know you'll at least come home to your kids having had a blast, even if your house is in shambles or you find out they exclusively ate Cheetos

OH MAN so from Azul's dorm vignette he's able to instantly identify the flavors of the various gummies in the mystery drink, so I think he probably knows a decent amount of Produce related food types and flavors since his mom's restaurant is supposed to be decently well known so they probably have foods imported to help with that

BUT outside of that I think there's a lot of different ways of cooking and meats and candies and such that they just never had access to, or at least easy access to

So because of that I think both in part that the twins went WILD trying new stuff, while Azul tried desperately to restrain himself from trying more than a bite or two (rip honey just go ham) but outside of that I really love the idea of them having to learn really abruptly that they have allergies LMAO it's so tragic but they're definitely lactose intolerant like they're fish they're not made for that it's gonna give them problems but also rip because you know they're all eating things they shouldn't to varying degrees

Azul walking into the lounge kitchen after hours and seeing Floyd going to town on some alfredo like WHAT ARE YOU DOING and Floyd is just "??? I'm eating pasta???"

Do you think Grim wants to treated like a person or cat. Or even both like does he want me to talk to him normally but still want me to clean his litter box and give him belly rubs.

I think the main problem Grim has with being treated/regarded as a cat is that a lot of people see animals as "lesser" so it's probably less to do with him wanting to be a Human specifically, and more him wanting to be regarded with respect- which I just think because he gets SO upset when people undermine him or insult him or brush him off lmao, he wants to be a great mage! And wants to be treated as such! But also definitely scratch his ears and let him curl up in your bed after you give him lots of tuna lmao

whats your favorite jamiazu fic?

OH MAN I haven't read a lot but I'm gonna say The View From The Top by angst_division simply because it has SUCH great characterization and build up and it's a fic that's really stuck with me honestly

Otherwise I'd definitely say Best Laid Plans by username_error(Chromophilic_Daydream) is also stellar and has great characterization and build up with a lovely and cathartic ending, and First by Imeria is incredibly cute and I especially enjoy the second chapter that has Azul's perspective of him trying to present himself so specifically during his first year

Honestly I need to read more with them oops I'm just so bad at actually reading fanfics I still have a small heap from when I asked for recs LMAAO

Never stop drawing (if that's what you wish to do)!! Your silly doodles and full pieces are inspiring, and I hope to one day create pieces that bring as much serotonin to others as yours does to me

OH MAN honestly first off THANK YOU?? Oh my god?? 😭😭 It's so wild to hear that?? It genuinely makes me so emotional because it's been a dream of mine just to like, make silly stuff that makes me laugh and makes others laugh and smile like it sounds so stupid but I genuinely get so emotional

But as far as getting your art noticed? Hoo boy I wish I had advice, honestly I'm just lucky to have gotten where I am omg, I've existed online for most of my life and I have more eyeballs on myself than I ever have before. Honestly the only thing I've ever done is just draw stuff that makes me happy or makes me laugh and then shared it online and like, talked to people and made small circles of friends and it just kind of somehow spread from there?? I am absolutely no help here 😭😭 but I'm wishing you the best!!

I had a dream that sebek got splinters in his hand and went to lilia asking for a “WONDROUS PANACEA”. Lilia was drinking monster at the time so he just shrugged and poured it on Sebek’s hand. Jamil was horrified and at least handed a disinfectant to lilia… who thanked Jamil and mixed it into the monster before taking a sip. At no point were the splinters removed

Okay this is BONKERS but honestly I could see Lilia jokingly telling someone that energy drinks are actually really good for disinfecting wounds, like he doesn't expect to be taken seriously but then sees Sebek asking to borrow one of his and he PANICS

LIKE SOUL EATER?? Oh man okay so I'm gonna pair off Vil with Rook as his weapon, and Azul with the twins as some sort of double weapon scenario a la Death the Kid because HOW COULD I NOT, and maaaannnn I'm iffy on having Jamil as a weapon for Kalim but like.. it fits them thematically as Shitty as that is- but also imagine IMAGINE WITH ME (I'm having a shipping moment) imagine Jamil and Azul are in a pinch and they need to work together so Jamil lets Azul wield his weapon form and they both like work together better than their current partners and it leaves them like. Oh. Ah. Hm. Not gonna address this for a while. Because of course they still have their same relationship dynamics, but it just makes them notice the shortcomings of their usual pair ups SORRY JUST IMAGINE

What do you think the best/worst gifts the twins have gotten azul are?

Floyd has no doubt plagued Azul with terrible clothing, shirts with puns and cute octopi, button ups with stupid gaudy patterns, stuff that would otherwise be good so Azul can't complain without looking like a dick lmao

Jade on the other hand I feel will give passive aggressive gifts as a joke. Azul misplaces a document once? He's given a little paper organizational tower. Drops keys and curses softly to himself? Here's a key holder that clips to your belt so you won't drop them again :)

But they're also capable of getting him very thoughtful things, like coming across weird coins he might be interested in for his collection, or nice custom fountain pens. Or even something nice but mildly embarrassing like new sock garters HA

On a similar note I think they do get him silly octopus things sometimes when they see them
