There it was again, fainter now, toned down by the harsh weather, but still audible enough for Megumi to catch if he strained his ears. He had first heard the wails earlier that evening from his kitchen window. He hadn’t fully opened the window before they stopped, just barely managing to catch a glimpse of something black and white before they scampered away.He had left the doors open in case the creatures wished to return, but was forced to shut them when the rain began.

He should have brought them inside right then,he thinks,looking regretfully outside at the pitch darkness,trying to locate them inbetween the merciless pour.

He throws on his raincoat, grabbing an extra pair and an umbrella,the rain shooting down on his face like arrows the moment he opens the door.

Megumi hurried onwards,sloshing through the puddles,light from some of the building's rooms paving his way,helping him to follow the mewls,peering under cars and into every nook.

"pspspspspspspspspsps!!" He called,voice barely audible to his own ears over the roar of the storm,either their cires stopped or were forced to drown by the rain,his heart begun racing,water dripped from his raincoat, and the wind whipped at his face,desperation gnawed at him as he moved from spot to spot,his calls growing more frantic.

Suddenly,a faint meow pierced the chaos. Megumi froze, listening,to pinpoint the sound. Another meow, louder this time, came from behind some trash bins near the side of the his building. He rushed over, and there they were—huddled together,contained within a green cardboard package,black and white fur drenched and shivering, they were almost too small to see,hardly four months,their wide eyes were glimmering up at megumi,one pair aquamarine and the other amethyst.

What Peculiar eye colors, megumi crouched down,leaning forward,positioning the umbrella to shelter them entirely,the black one grew still at the action,alert to the change,amethyst irises narrowed,tracking megumi's every movement,indifferent to the white one,crying in distress,misty blue eyes staring mournfully at him.

Megumi slowly extended a hand forth,waiting, nearly begging,right away,the white one eagerly eased closer,rubbing himself on the human's palm,his companion still kept eyeing him warily,frim in it's defensive stance.

"Come on now please? the rain is only going to become harsher,you are free to go in the morning when the weather clears out." He gently tried to coax,doing his utmost to appease the creature,who had begun taking slow, cautious steps in his direction,at last pausing to sniff his hand,nuzzling hesitantly alongside his partner.

Megumi didn't waste time,scooping them up with urgency,after creating a makeshift cave over them with the extra raincoat, securing them under his umbrella for good measure before dashing ahead.

Entering his apartment, he laid them gently on the floor,ridding of his raincoat first, he immediately got rid of the wet package,taking them inside,the kittens pressing closer to his chest,trying to soak in every bit of warmth they could receive from Megumi,he quickly and carefully dried their damp fur with an towel,whispering soothing words as they looked up at him with wide, trusting eyes.

He decided to arrange a comfortable place for them, making a cozy nest of soft blankets in a corner of his room,placing them inside it assuredly, he watched as the black one moved around, before settling and giving a content and grateful purr towards him,megumi sighed in relief before smiling and patting the soft dark fur, the fact that the other one was still clinging desperately in his arm completely slipped his mind,till he heard a drawn-out meow and a light paw nudging his jaw.

"Oh sorry about that, here" Megumi gave him a pat as well,chuckling as the small fur ball appeared to be buzzing with the vibrations of his purrs,he used his other hand to pat the other one too,as purple eyes had begin looking at them disapprovingly,after a minute he figured heading off to warm some milk,attempting to stand but having to pause,when white paws started digging on the sleeves of his shirt,both blues and purples meeting his gaze wistfully.

Megumi cooed,brimming with warmth and rubbing each of their ears,"I'm not going anywhere, just bringing you something to eat."

He patted their heads some more reassuringly, before getting up, the white one seemed dead set on refusing to let him go but complied anyway,megumi made sure to be fast,not wanting them to feel any more anxious.

After watching them eat and fall asleep on top of one another,did megumi finally move from his postion,changing his semi-wet clothes and cleaning whatever mess was left in his hurry,and with a last look at the sleeping kittens,megumi stretched down in his bed,the steady sound of the rain lulling him to a slumber.

In the quiet of the early morning,megumi stirred,something soft was tickling his nose,he felt
unexpected warmth on top of him and one on side of him. Slowly, he opened his eyes to find his vision covered in pure white,tilting his head in sleepy confusion,Megumi blinked rapidly at the small body of a 𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 on top of him,and 𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 with longer darker hair snuggled up beside him,both breathing softly in their sleep.

If he hadn't been in panic mode,megumi could have noted the boys having the same black and white streaks in their hair as the cats he ended up bringing home last night.

YES %100 YES😍 because imagine this only child teen gojo hating the idea of kids,"all children are brats and annoying!" But one look at shotagumi,and he's BREATHLESS,suddenly he's buying sailor outfits,dragonflies printed yukatas,puffer jackets,animal eared hats,anything he comes across that remind him of his cute boy,he takes it,which is EVERYTHING.

Will constantly call him his baby,will further gush and squeal when that makes megumi all huffy and pouty,dashes straight to jump on him as soon he enters the door,tries to make him sit on his lap but gives up after repeated punches,only releasing his boy from his hold after sneaking some kisses on his cheeks.

I bet gojo would be that creepy aunt in family gatherings who randomly grabs running children and attempts to bite their cheek??😭 Megumi was HORRIFIED and not impressed when gojo tried that for the first and the last time,satoru thinks about it like breathing though,he's just got better at keeping himself under control.

It's canon the amount of pictures he takes of him CONSTANTLY, he has albums and albums dedicated to all his accomplishments or so much so as megumi breathing adorably in his sleep,he was on the sides,holding up poms-poms and cheering when megumi summoned his first shikigami.

Over and all megumi can grow as big and tall,he would always be gojo's baby and the man is endlessly dying and reverting back to life from all of megumi's cuteness overdoes💯💯

I think It would be pretty similar to how gojo raised him,depending on the route we take,if it's the cult one,suguru would be more twisted and obsessive,Highly manipulative,but either ways he would be pretty clear and honest with whatever feelings he possessed for the boy, creating an environment where megumi could let himself lean upon suguru without any hesitation,and I think megumi would admire that level of honesty and "unshakeable" Moral principles from suguru's ideology,depending on the role of his sister, megumi may or may not completely support suguru's cause but he may be inclined to stick by the man's side for all suguru has done for him.

And if it's suguru not turning and becoming a sensei route, I imagine satofushisugu to be this one family, where they are overly possessive and obsessive over the kid they raised,and also I believe suguru wouldn't push/pressure megumi to be the "strongest" To be able to stay by his side, to challenge him to his potential and would instead be content in just taking care of him as his protector.

When I first read that phrase from yuuji,my mind instantly clicked it to yuuji playing on sukuna's arrogance regarding humanity,but it's more reflective of the lotus sutra's teachings,which discusses the interconnectedness of all beings and the idea of enlightenment through understanding this connection,it's yuuji accepting his cursed side or maybe making sukuna accept his human side,yuuji should or already has attained buddhahood (become a true jujustu sorcerer)

I think a few elements of the seven parables can match with the jjk lore,if we read between the lines,it's very indistinct, so far I belive it could be:-

1) The Parable of the Father and his Lost Son, (Chapter 4 - Faith and understanding)

A son, estranged from his wealthy father, is gradually brought back into the family.

It could be linked to Megumi and toji,would explain toji's return during Shibuya,also to kenjaku and yuuji, kenjaku's main purpose of birthing sukuna's vessle but yuuji rejecting that fate in a way,instead coming to an understanding of his place in the world of jujutsu sorcery for the better.

2) The parable of the jewel in the robe,(chapter 8 - Prophecy of Buddhahood)

A man discovers a gem hidden by his friend inside his garment, symbolizing the inherent Buddha-nature within all beings.

This could generally conclude to the jjk characters discovering their true potential or hidden powers,such as Megumi's gradual realization of his own strength,crafting his domain and Yuuji's discovery of his cursed technique.

"The kids just can't be trusted alone." Megumi argued "While yuuji is good at taking care of the house, you know how much of a spoiled brat that satoru can be at times-"

it was the air filled with the sweet aroma of sugary maple that offered him comfort,his limbs following instinctively like some cartoon character drifting towards a delicious scent,the kitchen was softly lit by the early morning rays streaming through a window,there stood 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘮𝘪, sunlight casting a golden glow all around him,his very essence dripping luscious honey,bustling around the kitchen harmoniously like satoru's favorite symphony,the man's lips lift in a devoted smile.

The lithe boy scarcely flinched when the older of the two wholly draped himself all over his form, Satoru breathes in warm skin,pankcakes sizzling on the stove mingling with the faint traces of brewed coffee with megumi clasped securely in his arms were soothing his nerves deeply.

"Move I need to whisk the eggs." megumi mildly nudged him,but made no extra attempt to step away,satoru viewed it as a sign to further tighten his hold,prompting complaints as a result.

"Tsk do you not want me to have breakfast?" Satoru pouted,loosening his hold but still remaining in place,the boy tsks,relenting nonetheless,refocusing on his previous task.

"Megumi-chan's pancakes are the best!" Satoru hummed in pleasure, savoring the taste "everything you make is the best! I like your omelettes as well, you don't have to wake up this early to cook two breakfasts baby" Blue eyes look at the few drops of batter and flour sprinkled on the counters,evidence of megumi's efforts spent for him.

"It's fine,it's not much work,it's the same as cooking for one"

Satoru turns to find his darling coolly sipping coffee,conveniently hiding his pretty face,as if satoru could miss that lovely flush across his cheeks.

Megumi puts the cup down,just in time for fingers to extend and rub his cheek.

Satoru brings the fingers to his mouth,ruminating"I knew it!"

"Knew what?" The boy shows a spark of genuine curiosity.
