"You didn't leave yet?!"

"Oh my god-I'm almost leaving! why are you ready already??"

Megumi sighed,rubbing his forehead,he hadn't even thought of a drink still he could already sense the hangover symptoms drawing near.

"I'm not going to go,if you don't show up." He attempted a threat, hoping it would spur his friend on the other line to hurry up.

"I'm out! I'm out okay! I'll be there in 5 minutes,will you relax for a second?!?"

"I'm relaxed." Well- Initially more than he was before,after starting some light cleaning- which quickly spiraled into a full-house scrub down,adjusting around his room twice,reorganizing his wardrobe because nothing seemed to be appropriate date wear or as nobara would categorize "Something hot",it was Yuuji's turn to cook dinner,So Satoru burning the house down was off Megumi's list of things that could terribly go wrong in his absence,The older of the two could still manage to wreak havoc,always creative in crafting trouble.

"I can smell your distress over here even with my beta nose."

"The kids just can't be trusted alone." Megumi argued "While yuuji is good at taking care of the house, you know how much of a spoiled brat that satoru can be at times-"

"They are no longer kids-" Megumi can clearly see her rolling her eyes in his head. "They are fully grown alphas now, give them some credit, you worry too much at times, and their favourite aunty would be there to give them a nice beating if they stir up too much mischief,So chill out and enjoy this one night will ya?"

Megumi snorted,he truly was lucky to have his best friend be there for him and most importantly for his pups,whenever things got unbearable,whenever the alpha teenagers got uncontrollable,All the Parenting alpha children guides and books could only help so much,when his boys would get overly aggressive everytime megumi would return home after a late night shift,exhausted,wishing for rest,but then having to deal with the newly presented alphas tugging each of his arms,demanding cuddles and refusing to let go,atleast it was better then them constantly calling him at his work,on his days off,the two would persistently hover over him, relentlessly fighting on who gets to invade all of megumi's personal space,he loved his pups he really did,he wanted to spend time with them but it all got too much at times to the point he preferred working overtime,Megumi just craved a few moments to himself that's all,it wasn't selfish,he would try his best to reassure his guilt-stricken omega,Nobara's words of support and her babysitting despite not liking children much herself all for the sake of megumi,really helped him feel better about himself as well.

It evidently came with a price when megumi received a call from the school,complaints about satoru bullying his peers,acting hostile and disrespecting the teachers,yuuji was fine with his manners but there was a sudden decline in his grades which had his teachers showing great concern,Megumi had rushed to the school,nobara along side him,The principle had left them off with a warning,affirming megumi's unease with "I will let it slide this time,as newly presented alphas tend to act out in the face of neglect."

Neglect,Megumi had been Neglecting the children he promised to take care of.

Megumi felt worse when the principle stated he ought to apologize to the parents instead to the school,some Tight-lipped,coldly nodded at him,while some omega parents had graced him with pity,single working omega making every effort to raise his two growing alphas.

He started taking days off,fully dedicating himself to care for his kids,providing them with everything their hearts desired,slowly and steadily yuuji's performance in school enhanced,finding his strength in sports,becoming the captain of his team and satoru made two best friends,two very good Friends that megumi was glad were looking out for satoru,whereas he still wasn't as respectful to adults as megumi would hope for,his teachers sang his praises nonetheless.

Perhaps it was all this accomplishments,or maybe now that he finally could get a moment to himself,(satoru and yuuji's clinginess remaining unchanged no matter what) that megumi had not caused much fuss when nobara suggested to start dating,brushing off his fretting and even offering to provide company to the boys,less they tried to disturb his time,he was rightfully tempted to agree.

Megumi was about to respond when a loud thump startled him,He groaned into the phone.

"Right, grown alphas, I'll call you back wait"

The man quickly went downstairs,estimating the costs of damage beforehand,He breath out when nothing looked broken,just that his sons were in a some sort of brawl,Satoru must have fell down as yuuji appeared to have the upper hand,judging by the vigour and the fact that not one of them turned when Megumi entered,meant no broken bones or bruises likewise.

"Children."

No matter how bothersome they could get,not once has megumi ever had to raise his voice,he can't think he could anyway.

In a flash Yuuji jumped towards him,wrapping himself around his shoulders much like a koala,nuzzling his neck and grumbling.

"Satoru is stealing my stuff again!"

He watched the accused over pink hair,swiftly hiding something in his pocket and scurrying his way over to them,Megumi sighs, aware of the inevitable.

"Megumi-chan he's lying! I didn't steal,I simply took back what was mine." Satoru huffed,Grabbing megumi's arm,stubbornly pulling him away from yuuji.

"He's the liar!!!- he-"

"Yuuji whatever it is,I will buy you a new one." Megumi appealed,patting his hair,the younger alpha was the easiest to resolve.

"What- it's no fair! You always dote on him!-" Satoru whined,bringing the omega's head closer to rub his face in his hair. "even though he actually stole from me-"

"Then give him back what you took and I'll buy for you instead" Megumi turned his face to address his eldest,Satoru pouting under the stern gaze,He ended up blowing a raspberry at yuuji,who snarled in return,Megumi decided that was enough and pushed both the alphas away,walking near the sofa,shaking his head at the clutter on the floor.

"We'll dicuss this later,please clean up this mess now,nobara should be here to hang out with you guys soon "

"She's coming to babysit you yuuji!" Satoru chimed in without a beat.

"Shut up! No one is talking to you!" Yuuji shot back "Why? are you going somwhere? I thought you weren't working today?"

Opening the shoe cabinet,Megumi couldn't help but smile at the change of his tone when directed towards him,"oh right please don't cook for me."

He bent to fix his shoe,"I'm going on a date,wish me luck."

Megumi coughs standing up,suddenly the air hangs heavy,thick with angry pheromones,pressing down on megumi,a blizzard closing in his surroundings,stifling the atmosphere.

Megumi reached for the doorknob,coming in contact with yuuji in place of the wood,he latched on megumi's outstretched hand,looking every bit pained and something else megumi's shock riddled mind failed to comprehend.

"You are not going to eat 𝘔𝘺 dinner for someone else? You are going to leave us for it?"

Megumi was going to reassure and partially scold the boy,till he felt a looming presence behind him,satoru encroached near,incasing his arms around The Omega's neck,the Familiar warmth was gone,it felt cold like a snake's body.

Megumi shivered when his hot breath hit his ear.

"Megumi-channn isn't it unfair I have to share you with this brat and now you go say things like that? Am I not enough for you hmm?"
