I don't understand the difference between "individual samples" and "portfolio"
Hello! Individual samples are the three, main samples you will submit in the application. The portfolio can include these all or some of those samples, but is a larger body of work that encompasses more than what you sent as samples and show your abilities outside of said samples.

How do you apply if you'd like to apply for both the poet and the writer position?
Hello! Please put in the comments that you would like to apply for both writer and poet.
If you would like to submit two applications, one for poetry, one for writer, that is completely fine, as well! Just indicate which you are applying for in each.
If you would like to submit both in one application, please ensure at least one poetry and at least one prose sample is included. That is, one piece of poetry and one prose fic for one application!

hello! in the guidelines you specify to not have your name attached to avoid bias. does this mean you shouldn't use works you have already published to ao3 or twitter as samples, in case someone has read them and can recognize the work as yours?
Hello! You can use published works! In such a large fandom, it is quite possible applicant's works can be recognized. However, we ask for no names so that we can try as best we can to uphold the blind judging to keep bias out as best we can! Hope this helps!

1) must our portfolio style be consistent? What if our range of works has a lot of different styles but it's possible for us to stick to one for zine purposes?
2) for censoring of name, can we just cover/blur out the signature?
Hello! Your portfolio can contain your best works, not dependent on style, meaning, you can have whichever style you wish! For your name, that is completely fine to blur or cover the signature as long as it is not large or takes away from the art! Thank you!
