honestly, a nice comment is a nice comment, a simple 'i really liked this' will make most writers happy. my personal favourite thing though is when people pick certain things in the fic to talk about, which part they liked best, a line that made them laugh or made them emotional. it's always lovely to hear when my writing resonates with someone but adding to that, it's a very particular kind of joy when i read the comment and think, oh i made myself laugh with that line too, or that scene took so long to get right but see? someone else appreciates it too. also thank you, that's such a sweet thing to ask 💗
