every chapter of every f!c you write is like a present..! its ok if it takes a a little while or a long time or ultimately even if a f!c never finishes at all. your f!cs are very enjoyable to read and think about. there are f!cs out there that are incomplete and last updated 2021 and i still go back and read them because i like them. your f!cs have such good story and characters and a really wonderful charm to them that is irreplaceable, so i at least feel no sort of impatience in the time between chapters because I can just reread the old chapters (ive read the tw!l!ght series as a whole 5+ times and have not gotten bored of it for example!) and be happy. asking you to write more or to write faster would be looking a gift horse in the mouth 💕 your writing is yours specifically and its amazing so its definitely worth any amount of wait ^^ (after all you have your whole life to attend to first before being able to sit and write)

That's very kind and truly appreciated. I read a lot, too, and it definitely can be frustrating for a reader to not have an update in a while but some authors (talking about my own personal experiences here) need time.

For me, I can't post something if I'm not fully satisfied with it. I don't have a beta so it's all on me to edit things and nitpick and ask my kind friends to read things for me just so I can make sure I'm not going crazy lol. So it's a longer process. Even with an outline, sometimes I'm just not in a creative mood to write and when I have pushed myself, I end up hating those scenes. I can tell my voice isn't in them. And that's no service to my story or the characters in them - especially with IOHY because it's an important story to tell (at least, in my brain it is). I just want to get it right, if that makes sense?
