Do u mind if I ask what made you want to go to med school? I’m applying in the spring and I wanted to hear your thought process on how u know u wanted to do med school!
oh my I completely missed this, I'm sorry! I hope my answer can still help you 🥺🥺
At first, I went into this degree specifically because I loved human biology and learning about how our bodies work. Years have passed, and I've discovered I also yearn to help people, either by curing them or accompanying them through the process of their condition
In the end, applying for med school or any other degree is a choice, but not a permanent one. If you feel like it's your call, give it a try! You can always turn back and try another thing later on, if you realize it's not really what you want. Seeing many, many older people in my uni class reminded me of how many years we have to study and work. Life isn't over at 25, dear anon! Keep that in mind <3
(hypnotizes you) ✨You will pass your exams~ ✨
Noooooooo I missed the free hour ;-;
What's your favorite part about med school?
it's ok, anon <3 as for your question, I just LOVE learning about the human body. There's so many processes that happen at the same time inside it, and we have various mechanisms to avoid those processes from failing, while also having mechanisms to ensure the other mechanisms don't fail, and so on. It's just so fascinating how life, as a whole, works, and how the human body changes when something isn't right!
