In this situation where capitalism is always trying to eating us alive, money can be everything. You cannot live a day without spending money. It is useful to make the economy runs because factories are keep making goods—there is no inflation. That is a good news for people who considered themselves as upper classes to upper-middle classes. But goddamn, we, as middle classes to lower classes are crawling, still, to get what we need. So, yeah, money is everything for most of us who don't have enough to spending it.
