we do have enemies, there are people who have it against you for the simple act of existing and no matter how much you try and be loved, you'll always find someone who will stance themselves as a hateful individual towards your entire being.

but that doesn't mean that your own self isn't an enemy in itself. the self that pushes you to do something harmful to yourself while clouding your better judgement, that makes you think that you're lesser than others or that holds you back from pursuing your dreams.
the weaker your own sense of self is, the more harmful other people's words are; so yes, the biggest enemy is yourself.
