Thoughts on touch starved Aki? Cause that shit makes me feral beyond belief

heh anon... try touch starved shinjiro (too) (i like them both touch-starved) (it makes me go insane) (i like just picturing them feeling each other up a lot it makes me really happy) (i tend to hc akihiko as getting more easily overwhelmed by it) (in part because i hc him as autistic) (shinjiro too but not as noticeably uncomfortable) (both try to press on: this isn't the best answer when navigating touch deprivation but it's the most realistic for them) (and it makes me smile) (they're just two idiots fumbling about in this lonely world).

okay the brackets thing is getting lame but you're talking to the akishinji guy so i'm giving an akishinji-adjacent answer. i like to see akihiko and shinjiro as having been exceedingly comfortable with each other, patching up each other's wounds and just being more touchy-feely with each other generally. and then when they fell out of each other's lives missing that tactile stimulation, something that isn't very easily remedied when shinjiro returns. because akihiko is pretty distant to people, i don't really see him as being necessarily comfortable with casual touching or entirely capable of reading when it's appropriate. with akihiko i generally make him ? a bit sensitive ? somewhat as a "i just find it cute" thing but also because he's a quite emotionally impulsive (i dislike using the word "emotionally sensitive", but it functions here) guy and having that translate to tactile stimulation is #fun. i think touch deprivation, caused in part because he's not entirely comfortable with people touching him (in any way besides being hit while sparring; any personal way) is fun. makes me smile wide
