i saw your tweet about phantom chisei having free will and that just speaks to me a lot cause like not only is it interesting but also imagine the real chisei coming back lmao. imagine getting ntred by a phantom of your own image.
Btw thank you too for the song recs aaaa you have interesting choices i'm gonna meticulously pour over each one so good. For me personally i really like kenshi yonezu's shunrai, natori's overdose, and breezeblocks for haruomi-esque songs, while for chisei i just go with vibes most of the time and end up with like, demon dance tokyo and kenshi yonezu's loser cause i feel like the beat and vibe of it rlly fits the chisei in my mind lol
Also I've read your newest fic too and grrrrr im in love im so so in love the haruomi in chisei's perspective is so.... im so very normal about them

AND THANK YOU FOR READING THE FIC UEEE???? at one point i had to pause to ask myself if i'm making him ooc but then decided that him falling in love for realsies does feel ooc to begin with already so what's wrong with a little more. i think it's so interesting to see someone so levelheaded and logical-driven being led by the nose by feelings. certainly dulls one's perception of everything else but not necessarily in the bad way.
PHANTOM CHISEI HAVING FREE WILL ROTS MY BRAIN because the implication of it Not be a manifestation of haruomi's denial/delusions opens up a vault of comedy on its own and if real chisei comes back yeah it'll be a pot of identity mess. this is the first time i reply to an ask on laptop so please pardon me being annoying about this. my premise to this theory is chisei's phantometal either steals or has been entrusted with most if not all of chisei's memory to manifest a phantom that fills his spot, so as of current, the phantom chisei is Technically more chisei than the real chisei depending on how you define a person. i personally prefer the phantom not having All of chisei's memory when he came about bc it's more fun if there are gaps that give some distinguishable differences between them for haruomi to notice and realize that. "oh that isn't the real one. but does that really matter anyways". so he acts like he always does even with the knowledge that the current chisei isn't the real one rn because he really doesn't care that much since he accepted the reality of real chisei's death (he speaks of chisei like a widow would. if you wanna (re)read exhibition show part 3). it will come crash down once actual chisei comes back and even if he isn't the same as he was before That incident, i feel like haruomi would initially choose the "real" one who probably doesn't even remember him That well anymore over the phantom who's. well. yeah. anyways i think two chisei funnier than one you know i'm forever a 3p advocator /hj
OF COURSE that entire soap opera is a product of my brain and will age like Milk when canon drops the bomb but!
