hello! thank you for your time for translating 18trip content.
i have a question however, pertaining how you translated kuguri's ideal type. i would like to know where the interpretation of "someone worth the emotional investment" comes from? the way i interpret 「泣かせかいのある子」was in a literal sense that his ideal type is "someone that's worthwhile to reduce to tears/it pays off to make them cry" (sorry for the bad TL)
i'm still learning japanese, and english isn't my first language. but this is exactly why i'm curious about your interpretation! i feel the original is a lot more meaner & sadistic compared to the translation, and there's a different meaning added in english that isn't there in the original.
but i might be taking both phrases too literally, and the english might actually be a correct way of saying it but i just am missing the nuance of it.
thank you for your time!
