even if he's canonically shown to be quite rude at first, not really outright towards others, but with the means of just spewing unwarranted comments into the void that nobody asked for (affectionately), but, especially later on, she's shown to be so incredibly kind and protective to those who deserve it, even if he doesn't outright express it and just seems indifferent at most and i do like to think that he'd be even more kind towards and has the hugest soft spot for me too
