even tho i think anyone in his position would go crazy (and he does), and i would definitely not forgive my friend in this situation (lol) there are important points here. 1. he's consenting the physical part, so there's no physical cheating in tce. tce plays with the limits of emotional cheating instead 2. at some point he's aware that rj has feelings for dh, but bc rj still has feelings for jn as well, jn doesn't want to break up. so it's not that his friends aren't telling him about it, bc he already knows. he reveals this towards the end of the fic, but there are hints before that, so he's basically fighting for the rs until the end
