https://retrospring.net/@berryboys/a/113419131886219894 berry you should get a tumblr cuz i needed this to be an essay but the character limit on retro is atrociously limited. anyway, i second the jaemren angst potential. it's so evident when 70% of their fics on ao3 are some sort of dead dove trope. like a headcanon we all subconsciously have. they can rarely just be fluffy or dramatic or complicated like everyone else. on the other hand I've read the most adorable jaemren it gave me cavities
the character limit stopping us from diving deep into jaemren angst... listen i will always agree with angst bc i think its saucy and if it depended on me all fics should have aaaa little bit of angst in them. I can imagine ways in which they can be angsty but, because i havent read a lot of jaemren, i probably have a different perspective? Like who would actually suffer between the two etc. Dead dove though?? What are you guys writing about them lmao
