I'm a long time writer, but only recently started writing for bkdk. If I don't have currently published work within the limits but can share a fic through drive that does work for guidelines is that okay for application?
Hi there! Thats no problem!!
You may submit an excerpt of your bkdk piece - but it must be able to standalone (as noted in the guidelines!) This can be a doc/drive link.
Please remember that we do need to see at least one full and complete piece in your other samples! Thank you for your question, and let us know if you have any others!

Hi there! I have a question in regards to providing a writer portfolio. I would like to link my ao3 but I've been writing on there for like a decade and some of my earlier writing is a little rough lol When the mods look over an ao3 profile do they only look at recent fic? Or only bnha fic? Or?
Mostly I'm just trying to figure out whether it'd be better to put all my best fic (some of which are from a different fandom) on google drive and link that instead. Thank you!
Hi hi! Mods may browse portfolios as needed, and it is mostly based upon the criteria we are looking for in this project. While we may assume most recent works are a reflection of current ability, if you feel there are pieces that don’t reflect your current skill level or you would not like to be included, feel free to share your portfolio as a Google drive link with a selection of what you feel are your best works instead!

Hi there - a credit name is essentially your pen name - or what you have as your name, for example, on AO3. (Social Mod here so for example, my name is Andie, but my credit name is FireHeartAW).

Is it alright if completed sample pieces have more words then 3000? (In this case 3500)
Hi there! We have a bleed of 100 words wiggle room - on both applications and as a contributor expectation. If you can cut it down to that amount (i.e. 3.1k we'd allow that) as the mod team will be reviewing several applications! Thank you!
