they make my heart ache so bad, and if i'm being honest, there are no words that perfectly describe why. we have two near-preeminent characters who blame themselves and each other for the loss of one of the most important people in their lives. there's so much hatred there, but i'd argue a lot of it is projected onto the other person- they hate themselves for how things turned out with oda. oddly, they also trust each other in such a way that we don't really see in any other relationship. they make me sick your honour
