Hello, that'd be right. We did this taking into consideration the volume of contributor sign-ups (over a 100!), so that every artist would get the same amount of space in the project.

hi hi ! in the sign-ups form, should the credit name be our name or our handle? asking because i've been in zines where they ask for both, so i just wanted to clarify! :]
Hello! The credit name is any name you'd like to be credited as online, whether that is your name or your handle. In some cases, they may even be the same, depending on what the person prefers. We will be using the credit name you provide us and we'll add your handle right after, which is why we ask for social media links separately!
We'll be asking for credit name and socials once final submissions roll around too, so you will have the chance to change it too!

Hi, I'm concerned about the quality of contributor submissions with the zine being open call. Will there be a selection process after pieces are submitted if some of them don't meet the expectations (unfinished doodle, white backgrounds, etc?) or will they still be included in the final zine?
Hello! While we understand this concern, Blueprint is a project created by fans for fans. It’s a free, celebratory zine meant to commemorate Stray Kids and their achievements over the past 5 years, and contributors are aware of the expectation that they must submit complete and polished pieces. The purpose of this zine is to uplift the community and celebrate together and it would be unfair to have artists work hard on a piece for it to be ultimately excluded based on inexperience.
The Blueprint mod team will be regularly checking-in for progress and offering support so that artists can submit works that they’re proud of. Our job as mods is to meet the artist in the middle and make sure the project moves smoothly. Moreover, our artists are talented and excited to contribute to this project, and it would be a disservice to the community to not showcase the variety of styles and skills that Stays have.

what does it mean the "check in" in the schedule? that we will have to send in wips, or just checking if we're still in?
Hello! Check-ins in a zine context mean you'll be required to submit a wip to let us mods have a general idea about where you are at progress-wise, if you're staying on theme and following the specs of the zine!

Hello! You're more than welcome to participate even regardless of how long you've been creating for SKZ! We ask for finished pieces to get familiar with your style and make sure you're capable of completing a piece for the zine, and we can do this by looking at your art from other fandoms too!

Hello! Depictions of Aunt Minho and Mom Hyunjin are allowed in the context of/in relation to the SKZ Family skit. Putting members in skirts and dresses is fine as well. However, as this is an Anniversary Zine, we encourage contributors to celebrate Stray Kids themselves, their achievements and journey, by making these the focus of their pieces.

hi mods!! do the art have to be full pieces with backgrounds or can they just be smaller doodles/headshots, etc?
Hello! As stated in contributor expectations, we are expecting finished illustrations with background, though these can contain simple or graphic backgrounds rather than complex ones. How "finished" an illustration is will vary from person to person but we'd like to steer away from sketches or unpolished doodles for the final zine. Additionally, artists have the option to explore new ideas for new pieces or pitch unfinished works that haven’t been posted before and they wish to finish for this zine. Keep in mind each artist will be assigned a full A5 page for their illustration, so we'll consider this when we go over the pitches (for example, if you're planning on pitching something like: "Headshot of Chan with a party hat, Wolfchan is cheering on his shoulder", we expect the headshot to take up most of the composition).

Hello! Pitches are idea proposals and are sometimes referred to as a "concept checks". When you pitch an idea, you're letting the moderators know what you would like to draw for the zine. This allows the mod team to ensure that the same idea, concept or character is not repeated or overused!

Hi! Does the zine only accept art and no writing at all? Thank you!
Hello! We will only be acception art for this zine, as we were unable to get a writing mod in such a short notice. No other mod on the team has enough experience to take on a writing mod's workload and we are afraid we would not be able to take proper care of writers if were to include them in this project. If we have the chance, we'll try to include writers in future projects!
