Was i wrong in getting upset at this? Hi, i'm your mutual lol recently i saw a movie (The Substance) that i loved! And as soon as i watched it, i knew my friend J would love it too! I told J to watch it together, she said yes but never had time, i mentioned if she wanted to watch with me a few times and she said yes but was busy with work, ok, all good but then i enter letterboxd and see she watched the movie without me? I asked her and she said yes, she watched it. I feel hurt as i was excited to watch together, is it dumb or am i in the right place to be a bit hurt?
hi friend, thanks for sending a message! what i will say is you are absolutely not in the wrong for being a little upset. it's disappointing to be disregarded by a friend, especially if plans were made & they went on to watch without you, so feeling dejected about it is normal. but also it's not something to end a friendship over either so you don't have to take any drastic measures like that, but maybe ask them to be more transparent since that hurt your feelings? hope this helps!
