hii i’m an aspiring media designer but i’m not sure how to get into that field.. do you do this just as hobby or is this your professional career too? ~
hello~
i do this as a job too, but the work stuff is very commercial, dry and boring like logos and packaging etc. which is partly why I made this account to design what I love and want♡ i dream of working on designs in the art/entertainment industry but we'll see if that will happen><
and i have a degree but that's not necessary at all!! I'd say pick a course that gives the basics and then just tutorials and passion is all u really need~~
if u ever post anything I will look forward to it♡♡
hi friend!! hope u're doing great 🥺 fellow graphic designer here i wanted to ask if you knew any good photo repository other than maybe pexels. I've been struggling to find clear stock pics, esp with a clear background (used to look in behance before but it's a mess now and if i look on google EVERYTHING is ai) I know you use 3D a lot too but maybe you had some recommendations for me 🥺🥺 anyways love uu
hi,sweets!! God.. did u notice it too? the photos are getting worse...
I used unsplash a lot but not it's become worse too. Flickr is good but u have to lurk for a long time usually. And freepik is decent it has a filter for no ai so that's helpful.
Sometimes I just look for keywords on Google to see if anyone posted specific photos in bulk via some magical cloud link but that's a rare treasure.
I'm afraid that's all I used thus far..if u find anything else tell me as well~♡♡
hi! i hope you’re having a nice day!! i really admire your work, it’s really amazing, and i was curious about how you do it. Do you use 3d models for some parts of your edits or do you get that effect just editing in ps? also i’m really looking forward for your next piece, i’m sure it won’t disappoint!!!
hiya! you have a keen eye hehe, I do use 3d models sometimes~
mostly it's mixed media bc I combine photos, illustration and 3d models (the apple in the ihatefruits poster🔪🍎)
i model in Blender or spline(if my pc is outta reach cs that's online) and then edit the models in ps because I'm way more used to working there and ...well,..lazy to perfect everything in a model lmao;;
and thank u sm, you are so sweet🩵 i will work hard~
hiii so i never thought of pursuing graphic design as a career until i was forced to change my major in my 3rd year almost 4th (which is last..) and i cant help but feel super lost and not skilled at all and i love ur edits sm so can you share any tips on how to improve? and how to get ideas and get creative and stuff if that makes sense? anything really🥲 i’d really appreciate it and sorry for making this too long
gosh,don't apologise!! I love long msgs anyways~
By choosing things you like visually and interpreting them it's wayyyy easier to improve bc it doesn't feel like studying but rather like diving into an interest♡
I feel u sm, bc I knew I wanted to do smth creative but figured out my niche only recently. What I did was go online and look for things that catch my eye (posters, album covers, printed cards etc.) and make me go 'wanna do that'. Then I'd try and make works inspired by those things, during which I've figured what I like (graphic design) and what I didn't rlly vibe with (full on 3d design and modeling big locations).
I am sending u a hug and rooting for u~♡♡ if u post anything I'd love to see it!
i've been wanting to become a graphic designer and was wondering what extra tools other than photoshop you work from ☺️
hi! the adobe cc tools are quite essential and most employers ask of you to use them (unfortunately adobe is a very greedy company:((so it's not cheap) main are photoshop, illustrator and indesign.
I also add 3d objects that I model in Blender, it's free~~
If you want to go into web a bit more I'd recommend Figma it's free as well. And Readymag is good for making a creative website portfolio~
I look for many mockups and assets on gumroad, highly recommend it♡
I wish u lots of luck 🍀🍀🍀💗
i think you are creepy, no wonder your edit flop
Fave mark solo? ^_^
are you a markf or a jenf..tbh i am confused
What do you use to make your edit plsssss
Hello! I'm not sure how this requesting works and I don't have a specific picture of a member, but maybe something with Jisung as a yearbook photo? Like those they did in the 90's? I would love to see that
can't you feel like you don't fit in here with your age? it's very weird of you. stan twt isn't for hags. liking 7dream that much at your age is creepy
hii i just came across one of ur artworks and i was wondering if you're okay with printing ur work for personal use. they're super cool but its totally fine if u arent!!
(totally so sorry to reply this late;; i was ia recently) of crs it's fine for personal use, BUT be aware that the the edits were made for a screen so when printed the colors will come out differently!!^^ if u do send me a pic it's cool.
+ i was thinking of mb selling my printed thingies later on, we'll see~~
don't listen to the age-obsessed anon! you're all good :)
