hiii so i never thought of pursuing graphic design as a career until i was forced to change my major in my 3rd year almost 4th (which is last..) and i cant help but feel super lost and not skilled at all and i love ur edits sm so can you share any tips on how to improve? and how to get ideas and get creative and stuff if that makes sense? anything really🥲 i’d really appreciate it and sorry for making this too long
gosh,don't apologise!! I love long msgs anyways~
By choosing things you like visually and interpreting them it's wayyyy easier to improve bc it doesn't feel like studying but rather like diving into an interest♡
I feel u sm, bc I knew I wanted to do smth creative but figured out my niche only recently. What I did was go online and look for things that catch my eye (posters, album covers, printed cards etc.) and make me go 'wanna do that'. Then I'd try and make works inspired by those things, during which I've figured what I like (graphic design) and what I didn't rlly vibe with (full on 3d design and modeling big locations).
I am sending u a hug and rooting for u~♡♡ if u post anything I'd love to see it!
