i love your sonya and rodya bathing together piece so much because i think they would love bathing and showering together so much. the intimacy of washing someone else’s hair cannot be understated and i think if rodya has had a very hard day sonya (very intuitive) always notices and brings her into their bathroom so they can take a nice warm bath/shower together and he always washes rodya’s hair for her. she has definitely teared up while he’s doing it before (she will deny it vehemently if he asks her and he just smiles)
SO BEAUTIFUL I HAD TO DRAW IT. she always has to act tough... (time to ramble) i feel like theyre both very perceptive regarding each other's feelings and etc especially sonya. theyve known each other for so long that when something is up they can Just Tell. to me rodya is just terrible at expressing her feelings (they both are) so she can never just act grateful!! and plus i feel like it also stems from being overwhelmed by just how loved she truly is. that was why i drew them face to face... i wanted it to be a scene where rodya cant hide away from sonya's loving gaze. in any case sonya gets the message because he just knows her that well <3 rodya wouldnt have to say a word about it for him to know. but if she did he would be happy
