I disliked Arle a lot at first because I find her fans annoying and cuz 4.x pissed me off a lot with its taking objectively evil actions or behaviours and presenting them as morally grey or even morally good (like starving prisoners so they'll be forced to work, lol). Arle falls into that category and it annoyed me so much how she was pushed as super cool and scary, when she reads to me as an edgy "welcome to my twisted mind" oc

however

I've started to enjoy Arle as a freaky virginal weirdo whose trapped within her facade and can't escape it no matter what she does. I like the idea that she genuinely wants to make up to Furina but she's such a fucking weird ass that she can't convey herself in a way that doesn't terrify Furina into hitting her with a broom. She's a lot funnier that way.
