Gen Z absolutely has a problem with reactionary male-centered conservatism masquerading as progressivism tho but it has nothing to do with sex scenes in movies. Failure to acknowledge so can only lead to long-tern disaster.
Plus critiques of liberal feminism and commodified (mostly female) sexuality are always necessary, however you ought to be careful about the way you advocate it in a society that still very much shames women for having sex and having control over it. The surge of misogyny in the last few years tells me we aren't doing so lol
i'm well aware of the pitfalls that come with trying to critique the roles of sex and female sexuality in a patriarchal capitalist society, but we are so far beyond the point of being able to afford focusing on shame and the individual choices over the need for adequate sex education and social and material protection for women who can't liberate themselves with a body count. i'm not going to focus my attention on validating the choice of your average choice feminist to have as much casual penetrative sex as something liberating when, for one: that simply isn't my business and i don't need to know about it, and two: people don't even know how to create adequate care networks for assault victims and sex workers.
we are past the need for being careful when feminist spaces have become inundated with transmisogynoir and the individualist whims of straight white women, and this isn't to minimize the ripple effects of slut-shaming, but we can't be so desperate to avoid it that we feel the need to cling to frameworks of desirability and short-sighted sex positivity.
