I have,,, so many thoughts about Akira definitely repressing a lot of his sexuality and coming to this world where seemingly this sort of things do matter and wizards are particularly extremely fluid, and it’s just this sort of like pining for mithra he still isn’t sure how to act on and causes a lot of internal conflict. I think it’d take a lot of time for mithra to really comprehend that having 1500 years under his belt of just existing in this wizard culture where relationships are so hard to explain. I feel like as they got closer it’d just be such a slow comfort thing where akira gets used to the physical aspect and being open rather than keeping it private
