what’s your favorite fic that you’ve written and what was the process writing it like? :0

AHH I still really love how I've written Two May Keep Counsel, writing Mithra and trying to figure out his voice and represent his thoughts was something I had to ease myself into. He's not a super introspective person, and he often acts before thinking far into repercussions. It's fine to have to put him in a plotline that forces him to actually focus on things and face consequences for his actions. Logistics-wise, I have a whole timeline written out with the events I want to take place and I often re-read and re-write a lot of parts and nit pick them before publishing chapters. It's like my baby at this point haha

sorry if you have answered this before, but, what got you into misuaki? what's your favorite event/story about them to date?

HI sorry this took a week 🙏 but I think it was first my interest in Mithra before starting the game and seeing the character profiles, and then having this big hulk of a man everyone is terrified of just immediately roll over on his back and just listen to Akira’s every demand and suggestion to the delight/awe of everyone around them,, it entranced me. Also seeing Mithra get incredibly soft and tell Akira things he doesn’t tell others or never even thought he could put into words it just activates something in me. With Akira I have huge protag lover syndrome, in every game my favorite character/one of my faves is almost always the protag, and Akira is included in that. I like that hes not ashamed to call Mithra handsome and comment on his sex appeal while also push him to change and better himself without the expense of losing his personality!!

Oh my gootness I feel like Mithra would really enjoy seeing Akira in more cultural Northern clothes, specifically the types he’d see around his village (clothes Akira wears are so ill-suited for the weather so he’d grace him with his finest furs in a very “be so grateful I am doing this just for you. Not at all that I want to see you in something that invokes a strange sense of nostalgia and comfort within me.”)

Now Akira… well. Chloe puts Mithra in a variety of clothes and we rarely see this lad ever show the briefest hint of skin so,,, any outfit? You are giving akira, god’s most previously restrained man, a chance for mithra to show real proper skin? Good luck.

who in misuaki would confess first and how would they do it?

I think Mithra wouldn’t confess first but ask akira if he’s in love with him and say it in such a very plain, casual way, zero fanfare just a question that sort of acts like a statement, I think Akira would dance around it but it would be something where he’d admit it at one point and Mithra would take a lot longer to really understand the type of impact confessing has (especially in an emotionally constipated man).

misuaki hurt/comfort ideas 🥺

I have,,, so many thoughts about Akira definitely repressing a lot of his sexuality and coming to this world where seemingly this sort of things do matter and wizards are particularly extremely fluid, and it’s just this sort of like pining for mithra he still isn’t sure how to act on and causes a lot of internal conflict. I think it’d take a lot of time for mithra to really comprehend that having 1500 years under his belt of just existing in this wizard culture where relationships are so hard to explain. I feel like as they got closer it’d just be such a slow comfort thing where akira gets used to the physical aspect and being open rather than keeping it private

I feel like for Mithra it’s would be something he’d do so casually any time any place and just because he Wants To, and being a wizard he’d probably not think much of it so it’d probably be anywhere even in front of people, and for Akira I heavily feel like he’s still in the cultural mindset of avoiding PDA and keeping a lot of affection private so he short circuits Just A Bit and has to teach mithra the art of subtlety right after (which is forgotten the moment mithra feels the urge strike again)
