“Reducing a character to just their relationship with a man” I complained that ppl do this to Kaveh and the fujo girlies JUMPED me for that and how I was wrong and dumb and ruining their fun because it’s all fictional! And then they proceeded to harass me, a real life person!
i want to say genshin shippers are insane but honestly i feel like since the pandemic (or the couple years before) fandom has become a place where fictional characters matter more than real people— because to them characters are real. they’re someone they see every day, they talk about them every day. and you, online person, are nothing to them, just a presence on their phone.
